Step by Step

Experience the Colosseum in an exceptional way with virtual reality goggles to explore the vestiges of ancient Rome on your own, with a high quality narrative audio guide.

You'll experience an immersive, multi-sensory adventure in which you can recreate the historical events of this ancient Roman performance arena with 3D scenes, in the place where it all happened.

Through an audio guide, you will discover the history of the arena of mass entertainment where the emperors organised epic fights between gladiators and wild beasts. Plus, you won't need to wait in line at the entrance to the Colosseum.

You'll see the ruins of the Colosseum Square in person, while in the virtual reality goggles you'll see what it looked like in its heyday, making you feel like a Roman of the time.

The entrance to the Colosseum also gives you access to the Roman Forum, so as you walk through the Colosseum you will enjoy the ancient and legendary centre of Rome in the 7th century BC, where the golden age of the Empire was lived.

You can also stroll along the Palatine Hill, home to the imposing ruins of temples and palaces such as the Stadium of Domitian and the House of Augustus, the residence of the first great emperor of the Italian capital.

The guide was nice and it was a great way to get skip the line tickets. For kids it’s great. Occulus that they were comfortable with and used easily. For adults or non gamers it was a bit difficult to manage. Overall a good experience
